Steven Tyler sang the National Anthem at an NFL game yesterday. As a fan I was reluctant to hear it because some people claim he "butchered" the song. I then saw a clip on a news show and it was great!! A legally married couple (in Washington, D.C.) wanted to combine their individual memberships to a publicly owned gym in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to save $260 annually for the married/family rate. They were denied. Make no mistale, legally the gym has no legal obligation to grant this request as Ohio does recognize the marriage or have any protections in the law against discrimination based on sexual orientation. The thing is, morally and financially don't you think they should have? The backlash and bad publicity alone has got to hurt more than the money. It has the Indiana Youth Group logo, an organization that advocates tolerance and provides training for schools and service agencies. When a friend of mine told me last year he was hooked on Tabitha's Salon Takeover, a show similar to Kitchen Nightmares but with hair salons, I thought what could be more boring than that? America's Got Talent is the American version of Britain's Got Talent. Other than a few clips (Susan Boyle comes to mind) I have never watched either show. Don't ya love how some groups are all gung ho pro religion ... as long as it is THEIR beliefs? TLC is planning a reality show called "All American Muslin" (Sounds like a snooze fest but that's not the point.) When the the christian group Florida Family Association found out they claimed it was "propoganda that riskily hides the Islamic agenda's clear and present danger to American liberties and traditional values." They bitched a storm to boycott the advertisers and the surprise is that Hardware retailer Lowes actually pussied out.

OK, So Lindsey Lohan did a nude photo shoot for Playboy magazine. Supposedly she posed in tribute to Marilyn Monroe's posing for the same magazine in 1953. Nice, fitting and tasteful it seems, although I, of course, like looking at naked men, haha. Lohan has chosen only one vehicle to promote the magazine, the Ellen show. While I am guessing Ellen's ratings may be the factor, I do question how many str8 men watch that show. I find it an odd choice.

I think the "No H8" Campaign is a great thing. Many known people, gay and str8, are joining together for the LGBT community. Be extra careful if you have an HP printer that connects to the internet. In an amazing story, it turns out hackers can gain control and do many malicious things, including sending printouts to other users of anything (Think tax returns here!) I am a fan of WildmanT and it is not just because he sent me some samples awhile back to share with you all. I have never had a problem bringing in audio files from a CD, but all of a sudden they show up as cda files. Apparently these are not actual music files and need to be converted to be transferred.
